Existing Plantations Powering Carbon Action

Building on What’s Already Rooted

We are not only planning for the future at GKF Agroforestry—we are busy changing the present.Through large-scale Agroforestry Plantation Projects in several states, we have already registered thousands of farmers and large tracts of cultivated land into certified carbon credit programs. These plantations stand as a testament to our ground presence, community faith, and long-term dedication to sustainability and farmer welfare.

Our initiatives consist of multi-species plantations for carbon sequestration, income generation, and ecosystem rehabilitation, all as per globally accepted ARR (Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation) methods.

Strategy for Expansion: Scaling Carbon-Associated Agroforestry

Expanding our solid base, GKF Agroforestry is now working to replicate its carbon-credit-linked agroforestry model in additional areas. Our next phase is to involve more than 200,000 farmers and cover 2 lakh hectares of land with climate-resilient plantations. This expansion is not just for environmental restoration but also for reinforcing rural economies. We are determined to create sustainable employment opportunities and actively engage rural youth in green livelihoods. Through this scale-up, we continue to move towards an inclusive, impactful, and replicable model for sustainable agroforestry that helps communities and significantly contributes to India’s climate ambitions.
